Description

I recently got Vray instead of updating my Cinema4D R11 studio to R12 studio, so I wanted to try out the new rendering program for this illustration. I liked its photorealistic rendering ability ever since I started 3D. :)

I decided to use mainly white material and simple models as a test, but took me 3-4 days for just modeling furniture (they were just made up on spot so forgive me if they seem physically impossible to exist in real life).

I got slightly mottled spots on walls of this render which I will try to fix in future by adding more lights to the interior part of the building.

* Thank you :iconk3-studio: for advice while I was trying to get Vray a couple of weeks ago.

The spots on the walls are either from your shadow type (multiple lights with Area shadow will do something similar to this effect, but it's usually more granular) or your GI settings (probably on the Irradiance Cache page) are too low. Personally, I think the spots look good in this scene. I really like your dream-like abstract style.
