Now... I know what my problem was when painting.
1. I should draw this kind of scenery with an aerial view or from a high place- I used to draw them from a ground level so my painting looked flat
2. Vanishing point- used to ditch on those but tried to do it for this one
3. I have a problem... more like a tendency to keep on drawing shores... many people try to draw cities or Sci-Fi with concept art, but my old habit comes up and start painting water related landscapes.
Speed painting?? Though... it took me 1-2 hrs for this one in Photoshop. I think I want to explore more paintings with Photoshop.
This is my imaginary shore. It was inspired by one TV ad for car or etc. two nights ago where the camera approached a light house on a cliff. I used photos of Ireland (again since that's the only photography book I had last night) as a reference for colors. No adjustments made for colors. Just used brushes and erasers and worked with very few layers.
