This is the result of riding Japanese trains and using highways almost everyday.
 I was making 3D CG of this while I was drawing up another wallpaper, Night flower. Since the previous one was dark, I made this bright and cheerful looking. 3D CG: Yellow and black things are a railroad crossing light and poles. The guy is on a mark/sign on Japanese highways- indicating a sharp turn. The blue and yellow blobs are just abstract 3D CG I made up. 1920x1200 pixel with download (personal usage only) Comic Studio Ex 4.0 Photoshop CS3 Cinema 4D R11 studio (modeling: a few weeks on and off, rendering: a few sec-~1 hour with global illumination) a few weeks- but actual drawing- 6 days on and off (mostly off) off to do something else |

I'm not an avid fan of it though... I think my 3D CG models are a bit off in proportion
yeah... the crossing sign is a bit off since the sign cut off his head with the right angle. It was fine with line art and once I started combining 3D...
I think one of those trains in Tokyo or somewhere... perhaps not Tokyo has one of those anime character on train walls.
I made the character a bit more typical anime like just for a change (made eyes bigger) for this one. Next one will be a bit more serious... no... I don't like that... probably background of some sort
I like to draw scenery after all... and manga... oops... will do it after procrastination.
