Now... the last page of TLOF Ch. 2.3 is done. It took me... ~5 months to produce this one since I procrastinated for 3 months when I got to p4-6 :XD:

This is called Chapter 2.3 since I think this story is a bit off mainstream chapters. It's introducing the relationship between that air ball thing- (I will name it Rumi from now) that appears in Ch. 1 and Hisen (Kappril is completely forgotten- my goodness). Bangaihen- an one-shot that's talking about story outside of main chapters. I will get back to the story in Chapter 3.

What I focused on more:
- koma (panel) layouts -though I didn't really focus too much on numbers/page for this one, I arranged koma shape and layout in the way that's easier to read.
- page layouts- I followed the formal manga paper format- most dialogues and drawings are within the area where they should be placed (unlike Ch. 1 or 2)
- simpler script ( I think I should have dialogues more for the next one)- fewer words but with messages that spoke volume
- less use of screen tones- to practice drawing. So... less than Ch.1 or 2. But, my manga is shonen and not shojo genre, it's fine with less tones.
- Typography (starting from the middle)- so it's easier to read... the fonts are not all same since I upgraded the Comic Studio software in the middle. I'm still learning to improve it.
- background- rocks and such
- Japanese version- I took out commas and period as in Chapter 2- since Japanese manga don't have them. In English ones, I included them since others seem to have them.
- Since this is a web manga- if you print the page- it looks funny. Half tones (with more obvious dots) must be used for real printed manga. Since my TLOF manga is just for fun and not for contests/magazine submissions, some manga rules are ignored to make it easier for me to draw.
- not exact translations- English and Japanese versions have different scripts and meanings. Since if I do direct translations like in Ch. 1 or 2, it doesn't make sense. :p
-more focus in one location/space/time

Difficulty I faced:
- script- since the first one was very corny and my drawing/visualization skills weren't good as well- I changed the page layout/content/script completely
- Japanese and English layouts- some pages were created using either Japanese or English texts- as a result- some words didn't give quite the effect I wanted due to lack of space. Japanese version of manga is more flexible for that one since I can change the word arrangement easily (vertical & horizontal) instead of English version. I had this same problem in Ch.2- but I guess that's what I get for creating bilingual manga.
- concentration- since I spent ~3 months before I got back to working on p.4-5... it was hard for me to refocus myself. I didn't want this to turn into incomplete practice manga such as Project A
- mihiraki (2 pages combined)- I created it with proper way... so it looks fine when printed on paper- but looked a bit cut-off for p.10-11 bottom left koma. I should have made them smaller. In addition, I should have no mihiraki at all or just one if this was for proper manga.
- costume design- since I worked this page per page and slacked off for 3 months in the middle- I forgot how it looked so occassional going back and editing past pages when no-one is looking :XD:

Grammars+spellings are not checked for this one unlike Ch. 2
clouds are gone in the middle since they looked too distracting- just assume that wind blew them away :p

Anyway... done done done doooooooooooone with this chapter at last!!! WHOOOHOOO!!
