富士山
An overnight hike up
Mt. Fuji, Japan. I believe it was my fifth try since four other trips were cancelled by overbooking, typhoon, and etc.
I guess you don't get to see too much sun rises from top most part of Japan. But I did it!! Yeah... in 2002. Many people got
AMS but I was busy gulping down a corn soup. They don't boil up to 100 degrees on top, so I had a luke warm soup for the first time in my life. But, it was yummy.
covered two symbols of Japan- sun and Mt. Fuji

Taken in July 2002
* I used this as a reference for
my manga page.

I really want to put this photo into drawing since I wanted to remember this moment when I finally reached the top of Mt. Fuji just when the sun came up from the horizon.

I would like to thank

for featuring this in
Huge Photography Feature
mostly beautiful sunrise....i really love the natural thing
Even in Korea, there's this tradition that seeing sunrise in the first morning would bring you good luck.
You really went to many places.
I'd like to reccomend Jeju Island (제주특별자치도/濟州特別自治道 ...If I'm not mistaken the Kanji). It's very close to Japan, And OMG it's really a beautiful island!
The weather's warm and nice. You can also visit Mount Halla, the highest mountain in South Korea, if you love hiking. The Jeju's Korean dialect is also close to Japanese. I'm sure you'd love it!
(jots down on the note)
Hehe- your house sounds nice too
Totally different topic but- I really like Korean food- I'm not sure if I ever had a genuine ones but I like seaweed for sure- crispy and yum. Japanese ones get stale so easily since I leave it around for a while since they taste like- yuck if they are not fresh.
There's a lot of spices and varied flavors in Korean foods, which is awwwsome! ^^
I have to much in mind, can't recommend you with that one. >///<
Though I'd like to visit Japan's tour area someday, I wanna try bathe in onsen once.. Have someplace in mind?
Akashiyaki is yummy too- it's takoyaki with more eggs in dough and you eat with bonito broth rather than sauce
Yeah- Korean food is amazing in the way that it's spicy- sweet- salty- and hot at the same time. The combination of textures are really amazing too and that you can get only in expensive Japanese restaurants.
There are lots of onsen around. It depends on which type you prefer. Do you have sensitive skin by the way? If not- you can get a lot. If you are, you have to be careful since some people get rashes from minerals in the hot spring water.
I guess you could try roten buro- the outdoor hot springs. There are a lot around but I think they are the best since you can breathe outside air while you're bathing. Of course- there are walls around to prevent prying eyes.
